Fridays, much like Mondays, end up being an exercise in fucking around. Today's activity was improving bagels from that time I made bagels a few weeks ago.
The good news is that they turned out WAY better than expected. The bad news is who on earth thinks that recipe makes 8. Lesson learned.
On a whim I added some birdseye chicken things to the shop. With some brioche. Mostly because I wanted a chicken burger at some point.
That point was today.
Topped with basic salad and some homemade kimchi, it was everything it needed to be.
STEAK!
Leaving the studio after last night's workout I was inundated with the beefy waft of the steak restaurant around the corner. Very upsetting.
Luckily Amy landed a couple of steaks, and who am I to disagree. I fried up some garlicky brussel sprouts and pureed some leftover roast sweet potato. Delightful.
