Preamble

It is the first of March and it feels like the first day of spring.

There are a few more weeks until the "official" spring is sprung upon us, but I don't care. It's spring enough for me. Which means planning the vegetable patch and making plans. Soon we'll be sitting out until the latest hours of the night, sipping cocktails and watching the bats zoom about for the sleepy bugs.

Breakfast

It is a Saturday, so obviously it is a pastry day!

Lunch

There was some leftover rice from Thursday's stir fry. 2 day old leftover rice is good one thing and one thing only. Frying.

So I smashed together a kimchi fried rice with some Korean "fried chicken". Upside-down double commas because it was neither really that Korean, nor fried. It was chicken, although it didn't really resemble it. Never again will I experiment with Birdseye battered chicken things.
