Scran

Pre-amble

A guest is imminent. I forgot that she works in hospitality and reviews food and understands food and I wish I remembered before sharing this project. But regardless a guest is imminent. It's not so much that I try to roll out the kitchen apron when we have guests but I also don't ever want people to visit and to only experience snacks, quick meals and dinners out. It's important that life doesn't change, cooking continues, but also that the opportunity is seized to make just a little bit more effort.

Neither of those things were done. Ha. But that is a-ok too.

The weekend did see the beginning of a new batch of kimchi (regular cabbage and not brussels sprout) as well as adventures in sausage.

Breakfast

The adventures in sausaging began with a breakfast roll. Brioche (from the supermarket), egg (from a chickens fanny, via the supermarket) sausage made with my own bare hands.

I'm not going to call it a homemade egg McMuffin, but I wont be offended if you did.

Lunch

Breakfast was late, so lunch wasn't had.

Dinner

Easily one of the worst Indian takeaways I've ever subjected myself too.
